2017-18 Meeting Schedule

September 14         Meeting from 3:15 – 4 p.m.

October 12               Meeting from 3:15- 4

November 9             Meeting from 3:15- 4 p.m.

November 20          Service Project:  Stocking Decorations for Kiwanis Christmas

                                   In small gym 3:00-5:00.


December 7             Christmas party 3:15-4:30 in Cafeteria .

                                    Bring a toy to donate to a family. 

                                    Also members will bring snacks and drinks.

January 11               Meeting 3:15-4: 15                                              

February 8               Meeting 3:15-4:15

March 8                    Meeting 3:15-4:15

April 12                     Meeting 3:15-4:15

May 10                      End of year party in Gym or outside on track 3:15-5:00

We will have an induction ceremony late April or Early May that all officers will be required to attend.  Other events may be planned throughout the year and be added to the calendar.


This schedule is subject to change but we will inform you in a timely manner if a meeting needs to be rescheduled.  In order to attend the end of year party or Field Trip, all members must attend 2/3 of all meetings.  If you are a member of an athletic team, you must report to the meeting and then you will be excused to go to practice.  Please talk to one of the sponsors if you have any questions.

Qualifications for NJHS

There are five qualities that a candidate must have to become a member of NJHS.

  1. Scholarship:  All members must maintain a 3.25 grade point average.
  2. Service:  All perspective members must volunteer in the community or school.
  3. Citizenship:  All members must be involved in community activities.
  4. Character:  All members must show good character.
  5. Leadership:  All perspective members should hold leadership roles in school or the community.
